I find it interesting how the brain makes certain connections. For example, I read this at Jennifer's and immediately thought of this at Ambient Irony.
For the lazy or click-through impaired, Jen posted:

I guess to me that's the scariest thing about idiots--their ignorance of their idiocy.

Why? Because their idiocy bothers them, they get defensive about it, and then they become pigheadedly determined to do things Their Way, even though somewhere in the back of their tiny brains they are dimly aware that Their Way is The Total Idiot's Way.
I, er, have a relative who suffers from the problem. We all try to keep a safe distance from her. Especially when electricity is present.
