I am up at this ridiculously early hour because I have to make the mashed potatoes for the family feast. There may be more blogging once I am replete with turkey and dressing...or there may be napping instead. Life's unpredictable.

Actually my sister the hostess made the most wonderful cranberry sauce from fresh cranberries. I brought the mashed potatoes because it was a special request (my family loves my mashed poatoes). And it takes a long time for 10 lbs. of potatoes to be scrubbed, peeled and boiled (taking frequent coffeee breaks of course). Or did you think I would foist those horrible instant potatoes on my family? For shame, Sporkster!
