Assorted Odds and No Ends

So much to ramble on about, so much time to do it in...except I need to fling lights and decorations on my Saturnalia Festival tree (Burger King is selling Holiday ornaments. Holiday!!!!! Is the very word Christmas so offensive to people these days? Sheesh...) and scamper up a ladder to drape lights off my gutters at some point, as well as festoon the living room with bows and banners and tealight houses. Most of the neighbors have had their lights up since Thanksgiving, so I look rather Scroogie.

In other news, Nigerian spam has finally come to my blog email addy.

First:

Mr. Daniel Makoni

in my country.

Be prepared for a lot more of those stupid Nigerian e-mails. As soon as I got my first one, I started receiving them on a daily basis. They're especially fun to report to the AOL admins because you know the address might actually be real.

The whole "Happy Holidays" thing really burns my bum. They're trying not to offend me, but frankly, I find that offensive. If you're a Christian, just wish me a Merry Christmas already.

I'm also still waiting for the day when some friendly Jewish person wishes me a Happy Hannukah.
