Next time I may just call for pizza

Spring Break is indeed upon us, as evinced by the eight children, ranging in age from 5 to 12, who wreaked havoc in my lobby from 11:15 until after midnight last night while waiting for a ride home. Even though it was past time for me to leave, I let them wait inside because it was snowing and most of them didn't have coats.

Rather than repeat my diatribe against irresponsible parents, maybe I should just change the name of the theater to Dollar Babysitting...

My instinct would have been to give them all a large coke and some chocolate so that they were revved up and driving their idiot parents nuts for hours

Well, there's always E-bay.

Unbelieveable. It sounds like you're not surprised, however. You must see that often -- sad. There's no way I would even let mine be at the theater without me.

I like diatribes against irresponsible parents. I like the hopped up on caffeine and sugar idea too. Heh. You must have the patience of a saint.
