My philanthropy knows no bounds

I want to blog, but I can't really think of anything I want to talk about. Except, of course, that I'm bored and restless. I either need a new job that provides a greater challenge than keeping my temper with annoying and/or rude customers, or a new and challenging hobby--something that will make me want to hop out of bed in the morning--er, afternoon. Of course , the problem with hobbies is that I get obsessive, buy all the required appurtenances, and then once I've mastered it I move on, leaving the detritus to gather dust in the attic with the dessicated remains of all my prior hobbies.

This is one reason why I have never chosen men as a hobby--I would certainly leave a trail of broken hearts in my wake (and probably a few stalkers, too). I keep a strong damper on my charm--at least, in person. There's something "safe" about flirting with fellow bloggers, since there seems little chance that they will take my flirtation seriously, so their hearts won't be broken when I find someone else to trade innuendos with.

Of course, the problem with keeping my incredible womanly power over the male of our species on a leash is that I've probably missed out on a few opportunities for some short-term fun. But I think that's a reasonable price to pay for the well-being of the men I encounter every day...

*whew* The men of the world had a close one there. What are the chances that you'll change your mind and make us your hobby?

Well, guess my trackback didn't work.
